Sending an Attachment to Axya from Genius

 This article explains how to add and send an attachment to Axya from Genius directly through a purchase order. This feature allows you to transmit essential documents such as supplier quotations, mechanical drawings, or other technical documents associated with a purchase order. When to Use This Feature

This feature is useful when:

  • You have received a supplier quotation that needs to be attached to a purchase order.
  • You need to transmit technical drawings or mechanical documents.
  • You want to add any relevant supporting document to a specific order before sending it to Axya.

Steps to Add an Attachment in Genius

1. Access the Order

  • In Genius, open the Orders section.
  • Select the relevant order.
  • Click Edit.


2. Add an Attachment

  • Select the relevant item in the order.
    (If you need to attach a quotation for the entire order, select the first item in the order.)
  • Navigate to the Attachments section.

  • Click Add.
  • Select the file from your computer.

  • Click Save.

  • Save the order to synchronize the changes.

The document is now attached to the order in Genius.


Verification in Axya

Once the order is synchronized:

  • Open the order in Axya.
  • You will see a ZIP file next to the Additional Files section.

Suppliers will then be able to access the documents sent with the order.


Best Practices

  • Always verify that the correct document version is attached before sending.
  • Attach quotations and technical drawings directly to the order to ensure full traceability.
