Guide to the Parts Tab in Axya
The Parts tab in Axya is an essential tool for purchase requesters, viewers, and buyers. It allows you to efficiently track part statuses, apply advanced filters, configure column display, and manage information effectively. This article explains the main features and best practices for using this tab.
Accessing the Parts Tab
- Open the dropdown menu in the top left.
- Click Parts to enter the tab.

Configuring Columns
When using the tab for the first time, it is recommended to customize the columns so that only information relevant to your role is displayed.
Show or Hide Columns
- Click the Columns button.

- You will see a full list of available columns.
- Available actions:
- Hide all
- Show all
- Enable/disable individual columns based on your needs

- Hide all
Reorganizing Columns
- You can drag and drop columns from left to right.
- Your custom layout is automatically saved and will persist the next time you log in.

Using Filters
Multiple filtering options are available to help with searching and analyzing parts.
Filter by Data Type
Each column offers its own filter. You can:
- Filter by part type
- Filter by part number
- Filter by any field displayed in an active column
Example: Searching for a Part Number
- Click inside the column’s search field.
- Type part of the number (e.g., “C”).

- Matching parts will appear automatically.

- Note: When a filter is active, a blue number appears above the filter button.
Label Management
Labels allow you to quickly categorize specific parts.
Creating a Label
- Click inside one of the cells under the Labels column.

- Click Manage labels.

- Create a new label (e.g., Important) and click Add label.

- Select a color and name the label, then click Save.

Filtering by Label
- In the Labels filter, select the labels you want to display.
- This is ideal for tracking parts that require special attention.

Filtering by Request and Order Status
These filters are essential for tracking progress in procurement workflows.
Purchase Request Statuses
- On target
- At risk
- Late (if applicable)
Select a status to view all parts associated with requests in that state.
Order Statuses (if you have access to the Orders module)
- On track
- At risk
- Late
You can also filter by project type for a more targeted view.
Using the Global Search Bar
The search bar in the top left allows you to search through all visible columns:
- Part number
- Requester name
- System number
- Any field displayed in an active column
Simply type a keyword and results will update automatically.
