Axya Analytics Tab Overview

Purpose  The Analytics tab in Axya provides key insights into your organization’s purchase order (PO) and RFQ activity. It enables tracking of supplier performance, buyer engagement, and order trends across specific timeframes.

 

Accessing the Analytics Tab

  1. Navigate to the Analytics tab from your Axya dashboard.

  2. If both Orders and RFQ modules are enabled, toggle between them in the top-left corner.

  3. Select the module you wish to analyze — for instance, Order Reports.


Setting Timeframes and Filters

  • Timeframe Selection:
    Choose from preset options (e.g., Year to Date, Last 12 Months) or define a custom range.

  • Filters Available:

    • Supplier

    • Buyer

    • Currency

These filters allow you to focus your analysis on specific partners, teams, or transaction values.




Key Analytics Metrics

Order Value Summary

  • Value Sent: Total purchase order value issued in the selected timeframe.

  • Value Received: Total value of items received.

  • Value expected to receive: Value of items still pending receipt.

Example:

Sent: $2.1M | Received: $1.7M | Expected: $40K (by Dec 2025)


Supplier Performance Indicators

Metric

Description

Acknowledgement Time

Average time suppliers take to confirm orders.

Date Change Rate

The percentage of items delivered on which the delivery date was changed at least once following the initial acknowledgement.

Price Change Rate

Percentage of items where prices were adjusted after initial confirmation.

On-Time Delivery Rate

Percentage of items delivered on or up to 1 day after the confirmed date.

Average Lateness (Days)

The average delay for orders delivered late beyond the first acknowledged delivery date.

Note: Axya calculates lateness based on the first confirmed ship date, not subsequent revisions.







Supplier Engagement Insights

Use the engagement tables to identify supplier patterns:

  • Items Received: Determine which suppliers deliver the most items.

  • Purchase Value: Identify top suppliers by total purchase value.

  • Acknowledgement Time: Detect suppliers who take longer to confirm orders.

  • Date Change Rates: Spot suppliers with high date modification rates.

These indicators help identify which suppliers may require discussions or performance reviews.


Buyer Activity Overview

This section summarizes each buyer’s contribution:

  • Percentage of Total Orders Sent

Monthly Order and Reception Trends

  • Volume per Month: Displays the number and total value of orders sent monthly.

  • Expected Reception Value: Shows forecasted item receptions and associated values for upcoming months.

  • This can be useful with finance or accounts payable teams for upcoming payments.


On-Time Delivery Analysis by Month

Visualize supplier delivery performance over time.
Identify months with lower on-time rates to detect seasonal or operational patterns and initiate corrective actions.



Exporting Analytics Data

Click Export to Excel to analyze data in greater detail. The export includes:

  • Part name
  • PO  Number
  • Supplier
  • Order and delivery dates
  • Quantity and unit value
  • Currency conversion
  • Acknowledgement, shipping, and reception data
  • Change indicators (date/price)

This detailed view supports advanced filtering to detect:

  • Frequently late items

  • Items with repeated price changes

  • Suppliers with inconsistent confirmation behaviors
